WAAF is not only a festival but also a collective hub, a non-for-profit organization inviting the design, art, and engineering industry along with the general public.
Why WAAF?
WAAF stands for Western Australia Architecture Festival.
With its mild climate, beautiful coastline, and catalogue of open spaces, Western Australia offers a unique environment for a well-balanced life.
Here, architecture is the key discipline that shapes this environment, and WAAF is an opportunity to promote design, art, and engineering and celebrate Western Australian architecture.
Collaboration Platform
The overarching vision is to promote and showcase architecture through the realms of design, art, indigenous culture, and engineering not only to industry but making it accessible to the general public.
To achieve this vision, we are creating a collaboration and networking space for government and industry institutions, the general public, and the private sector.
WAAF will provide an opportunity to share knowledge and experience between the public, professionals, students, and government representatives.
WAAF acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the country throughout Australia and recognizes their continuing connection to land, waters, and community.
